HCSS Voice Ops - Network Installation Tech

This person will primarily be responsible for pulling network cabling including the survey, design, engineering, implementation and integration of Local Area Networks (LAN) consisting of low voltage cable systems such as Cat5/6/6a.


This person should be familiar with the following technologies and tasks:
•Must have experience doing commercial cable installation
•3+ years’ experience pulling network cabling (Cat5/6/6a)
•Avaya, NEC, and Skype for Business communication platforms
•Basic computer, network, and telephony knowledge and terms
•Works well in a team-oriented environment but able to work independently as needed
•Able to communicate clearly
•Highly organized with an emphasis on detail
•Telecommunications knowledge is a plus
•Must be able to provide great customer service
•Participation in on-call rotation for after-hours service issues and customer support
•Able to support system configuration tasks and follow directions
•Must be a self-motivator
