JOB DESCRIPTION:

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The goal of the project is to develop biological networks from protein expression data using hepatocellular carcinoma proteogenomic datasets. The network will inform about hub genes, protein interactions topology, and potential drug targets. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field. Scientific research experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A postdoctoral fellow will be hired to work on the project 73321 (R01GM112044). S/he will have a PhD in Bioinformatics or Computational Sciences with training and experience in large-scale, CPU intensive date processing. 

SALARY: 

Commensurate with experience.
